Currently at Infogain we are looking for Retail Principal Consultant.
Primary Function : To support the Retail Enterprise Practice growth by :
- Managing and staffing multiple large ERP projects (Tier 1, 2, 3 Retailers) at the same time.
- Manage the Delivery Teams - offshore to ensure sold projects are successfully delivered.
- Support the Delivery Teams - on shore to ensure sold projects are successfully delivered.
- Building our capabilities and staffing across multiple ERP Retail solutions including Oracle Retail Suite, SAP, and others.
- Developing our credibility, thought leadership and capability.
- Supporting Sales team in solution selling of strategically important deals in the Retail space.
- Maintaining executive level relationships within the Retail industry target client population.
- Maintaining relationships with Oracle Sales, Support and Expert Consulting teams aimed at positioning us as preferred partner for opportunities. Not limited to Oracle.
Objectives :
- Help deliver the sales revenue targets through team based selling for new and existing customers.
- Own bid lifecycle/RFP - qualification, vision, bid management, content preparation, quality assurance, presentation, relationship
- Lead/support our pre-sales teams to produce relevant and differentiated solutions to existing and new customers
- Provide leadership to project delivery team in order to architect the solution design and look at project risk.
- Development of our retail practice team - including mentoring, development and bonus recommendations - to help grow the Retail practice.
- Champion the development of Infogain's prescriptive implementation solution, methodologies, tools and capabilities.
- Contribute to the body of knowledge in our organization and bring best practices to project structure and delivery.
- Develop and maintain thought leadership in our Retail Enterprise Practice.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience :
- Overall 14+ years of experience
- University Degree or equivalent
- Verifiable experience in managing large Retail ERP implementation with expert knowledge of functional consulting, configuration and solution design & implementation experience.
- Verifiable experience in managing Oracle Retail implementation with expert knowledge of Oracle's architecture, design, development, configuration, integration and support requirements.
- Strong relevant business solutions architect experience in global companies.
- Strong sales experience - of selling technology solutions. Ability to deliver proposals as both stand alone and an integral part of wider consult-build-run propositions.
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
- Thought Leadership capabilities for producing and presenting case studies and forward thinking viewpoints internally in team and externally to a wider audience.
- Experience in Solution development, presentations, and walkthroughs
