Job Description:
Position: Director Administration
Responsible to: Principal
Role: He will be directly responsible to the Principal on all matters pertaining to general administration, IT infrastructure, budgeting, purchase and Facilities Management.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Security and maintenance of all School infrastructure and real-estate, including sanitation and supply of electricity and potable water. This will include all aspects of facilities management
- Security of School premises, reception of visitors, traffic control, transport management and legal cases
- Documentation of staff and students, operation of School Management System
- Travel arrangement of staff and students, excursions, coordination of out-of-visits by staff and students, and formalities connected with exchange programmes
Contracting and ensuring efficient functioning of all out- source agencies. This will include:
- Supervision of catering services
- Maintenance and upkeep of School premises and housekeeping chores
- Health and hygiene of staff, students and the campus.
- Running of cafeteria
- Stationery and book shop
- Tailoring services
- Landscape management
- As budget manager, assist the Principal in preparing and monitoring annual budget, as well as expenditure
- Produce each month a statement of the School’s financial position
- Ensure timely collection of fees and disbursement, payment of salaries and processing and clearance of all bills
- Manage all natural disasters, emergencies and accidents
- Liaise with the local police, fire brigade, local administration and travel agencies
- Responsible for maintenance and allotment of on-campus family accommodation
- Monitor all matters pertaining to infrastructure
- Organize a correct and transparent purchase procedure
- Be the one-point contact person between the School and the Parents, by sending timely e-mails on important issues
- Be the loss-prevention officer of the School, and be vigilant for any losses / wastage
- Be in charge of the basic HR issues of leave for all Teachers and Staff
- Carry out Inventory Management of all property of the School
- Organize an effective School uniforms procurement and distribution system
