Urgent Vacancy for a MNC in Bangalore :

Position : INDRAA Accountant :

Key Responsibilities :

Management accounts / Variance Analysis:

- Prepare monthly management accounts pack for specific business area, and provide detailed analysis and explanations for management teams.

- Review, scrutinise and challenge actual performance, identifying key variances and advising on potential solutions and risk mitigation

- Assist in financial management of the Branch:

- Budget Preparation and support to Branch and Regional Management to ensure the business needs are met.

- Monthly forecasting of both expenses and cash flow.

- Relationship Management and Communication:

- Act as an interface with pre - assigned branch budget owners

- Work closely with outside accountants in preparation of Management accounts and key processes

- Collect feedback from the business on the performance of the Finance function and advise of appropriate corrective action where required.

- Ensure Compliance with all legal and financial requirements for the branch:

- Legal compliance in liaison with outside advisors as appropriate.

- Support the of the preparation and timely filing of statutory accounts, Corporation tax, payroll tax and all other taxes / duties within the regions

- Maintain a strong internal controls framework:

- Appropriate internal controls, policies and procedures are in place and working effectively, reviewed & enhanced regularly in order to ensure both local and international Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements.

- Internal audit requirements.

- Continuous improvement / Standardisations:

- Assist in the Implementation of financial standardisation across all regional finance areas where appropriate
