ABOUT INDIAN POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (I-PAC Consulting Private Limited) :   Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) (est. April 2015) is India's FIRST cross party advocacy group, which endeavors to support the election of visionary, progressive and inclusive leaders to public offices. With our members previously organized under the banner of Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) (est. 2013), we have been operating in the socio-political domain for the last five years and have been lauded as the - Powerhouse that changed [election] campaigning in India forever- . Set up with the ambitious goal of re-inventing the socio-political space, I-PAC provides a platform for young professionals to meaningfully associate with electoral politics and contribute to policy making and governance by setting the agenda for incoming governments. .   WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR-   We are looking for someone who can head the entire Human Resources Department of I-PAC, which includes numerous responsibilities, a few being policy making, recruitment, appraisals, talent management and training. We expect you, who is thinking of applying for this position to be able to do the following:  1.Building the Team :   We have a huge task in front of us and it will only get bigger in the coming times. What we are doing is unprecedented and to scale this mountain we will need the most talented people in the country.Just to give you a hint of the scale, we were a small 50 member team before Punjab elections and by the end of it the numbers sore to 250 members and we have to double that number in the next year. Job portals, Referrals, Head Hunters or Campus placements you will have to try everything and anything to get the best people.This will be one of your major tasks here at I-PAC.   2.Organization Effectiveness :   With so much turbulence and such a large scale - systems, processes, policies, checks and balances always come in handy to create a working environment to achieve the maximum output. There are a few in place, but you will be designing the rest as you become a part of I-PAC   3.Team Development :   You will be designing employee training modules - identifying the key development areas and planning internal or third-party training workshops for team members. With people joining from very diverse backgrounds like Humanities, Management, Social Work, Engineering, Legal, etc. it becomes necessary that they are trained to cope with their weak areas   4.Compensation & Benefits :   Yes, this affects everyone, and for a few, the only reason why they love the HR team. Apart from the regular job, we also need to put in a more robust Performance Management System in place, which will most likely fall on your plate, once you join.   APPLY ONLY IF:  1.
