Job Summary:

The position holder will be responsible to drive Marketing Strategy for Buyer or Seller Marketplace in line with the Business Objectives with P&L responsibility. S/He will contribute towards Product development / enhancement initiatives and will drive all the Marketing campaigns / activities to achieve the Business Objectives.

Job Profile:

1. Contribute to the delivery of overall Product plan and achieve Business objectives.

2. Drive & monitor overall revenue for the Product (Buyer or Seller Marketplace) from New Customer Acquisition & the existing customers.

3. Work on Go to Market Plan, New Product Development, Product Enhancement, Product Launch and Portfolio Management to ensure delivery of Market Share, Gross Margin, Consumer Engagement and P&L.

4. Design & execute effective campaigns with attractive creative & pricing models to achieve ROI Objectives.

5. Undertake ongoing analysis and review of performance of products, channels, segments and regions to assist in identification of relevant trends, key issues and/or opportunities

6. Work with the Sales team to develop promotional initiatives to profitably increase market share within budgeted cost parameters.

7. Initiate & monitor competitive product development & communication activities and to actively share key findings internally.

8. Liaise with other Departments / Functions for smooth implementation of Plans.

9. Plan & execute effective Internal communication strategy to update & engage the Employees through effective creatives.

10. Recruit, mentor, manage and motivate the Product Marketing team and ensure a high performance environment

Desired Profile: -

Qualification:

Degree in Engineering with MBA from Top 20 B School

Experience:

1. 3 – 7 years of post qualification industry experience.

2. At least 3 of experience in heading P&L for Product / Category / Business Unit with overall Revenue generation responsibility preferably in Online Media / Telecom / FMCG / BFSI Industry.

3. Should have good understanding of Product Development / Management, Product Pricing, Campaign Management & Internal / External Communication.

Required Skills:

1. Should have strong team building & management ability, leadership ability and persuasive communication skills to inspire the team.

2. Should be able to provide strategic direction to the sales team to achieve overall Business Objectives.

3. Should have good understanding of Sales Processes & Consumer Behaviour.

4. Must be process oriented, IT savvy & proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/ Open Office Tools.
