Job Description:
Position: Account Director
- This position includes overall responsibility for the growth of the company's current client's accounts, and growing the business at India Syndicate.
- In addition to adopting overall management of key accounts/projects,
Job Responsibility:
- Manage the complete project lifecycle for multiple projects for online environments
- Understanding client requirements, discussing brand issues and communication strategies with the client and their audience.
- Understand financial concepts associated with project management; prepare SOW, prepare cost estimates, monitor revenue and profitability and take any corrective action if needed; manage project budget
- Prepare detailed project plans, identifying milestones, resources, and timelines - Monitor project performance, identify variances to plan and take/suggest corrective actions
- You will typically interact with the clients- to understand their content requirements in developing collaterals like case studies, flyers, brochures, white papers, web content, blogs, micro sites and so on.
- Advise on, draft and enforce sales policies and processes pitch and presentation conceptualization and management.
- Meeting and liaising with the clients with specific customized concepts to ensure achievement of their objectives
- Should handle project scheduling, project co-ordination and project completion
- Proactively identify and communicate issues that may impact the successful completion of the project, including timely escalation to management
- Maximize project team member performance by demonstrating good people management skills (recognition, motivation, building trust, environment with open communication)
- Identify best business practices and implement the processes together with our clients; look for opportunities for business process improvement - Assume a leadership role in projects and support our clients after successful project completion - Coordinate escalations in close cooperation with management
Account Management Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all projects and ensuring clients receive status reports etc.
- Actively drive client activity if appropriate and suggest strategic and tactical solutions to their marketing objectives
Requirements:
- Candidates from Advertising Agency background are preferred
- Bachelor Degree/Master in Marketing/ Business Administration or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of digital content market and marketing communication
- At least 12-16 years, preferably with relevant experience in similar industry
- Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
- Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills
- High commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with middle managers through to decision makers
