Please Note :- This is a complex multi-faceted service orientated matrix role which encompasses the key elements of strategy, advisory, leadership, financial management and business partnership. With the critical objective to optimize the financial performance and ongoing transformation. Position : India Global IT Controller (Will support finance for shared services of IT Businesses) Reports to : Directly Reports to Global CFO or Controller & Dotted Line Reporting to India CEO & Global CIO Major Responsibilities : - To build and maintain a strong business and financial management partnership with the company's Global CIO and the Global Controller (Global CFO) - To lead and manage a team of financial/business analysts and reporting experts who deliver superior analytical and reporting services to the Office of the CIO and the Global Finance team - Develop the suite of analytical, dashboard and KPI reporting services that will assist and support decision making - IT strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting process in order to enable the ongoing transformation of the organization - To provide superior and insightful analysis and financial information that will enhance decision making and optimize the financial performance of the organization - To understand the company's IT cost base and underlying cost drivers in order to continually drive down costs whilst at the same time increasing the end user value proposition - To analyze the financial results of the IT organization with respect to the strategic plan, budget and forecasts, in order to provide advice and insights to the Office of the CIO with the objective to propel the business forward. The successful candidate is expected to obtain a series of short-term results in the following areas : - Establish the team of financial/business analysts and reporting experts - Develop the suite of dashboards, KPIs and reports - Gain a comprehensive understanding of the IT cost base and key cost drivers - True business and financial partner to the company's Global CIO and Global Controller COMPENSATION : 50 - 60 L CANDIDATE PROFILE : (MUST HAVE) - CA / CPA (no MBA's) with 12 - 15 years of post qualification experience - Should have worked at a senior level in Finance in an IT services organization with a good understanding of IT from a financial management perspective - Working experience in international organizations and multi-site complex environments - Strong financial experience at management level having managed teams that have included business analysts and financial/management reporting experts - Should have been involved in ERP (SAP) implementation programs PREFERRED : - Ideally, having had experience related to shared services centers or business process outsourcing - Having led or been strongly involved in change management processes Other personal characteristics : - Strong communicator - Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships - Strong people management skills - Comfortable with ambiguity - At ease in multicultural environments - Hands-on mindset, strong financial skills - Pro-active and not reactive Critical Competencies for Success : - Acts like a partner He/she collaborates with and supports colleagues and peers across the organization; acts as a good team member with objectivity and openness (across - silos- ); listens and responds to others with respect, and acts on behalf of the larger organization.
