For our client, a Fortune 500 Telecom OEM we are looking for a India Channels and Partner Manager.   Reports to : would report matrix to the new APAC channels and partner manager and direct to India Sales Head  Overall Scope :  The partner and channels India lead would be a pivotal role, who would be responsible for planning, building and executing a multiyear plan to build the business plan on alternate channels to market and alternate ( to direct coverage) / adjacent ( non service providers) markets expansion strategy. The main responsibilities would involve -  1. Plan, build a(grounds up) partner and channel program in India geography -consistent with our global strategy and market priorities and 3 year plan.  a. Execute this plan-on field - around a phased (multi year ) and focused(e.g market/segment expansion beyond service provider market) manner  b. Execute on field a systematic program driven partner focused approach - in partnership with sales teams and Product (RBC) units in country.  2. Primary focus being : partners focused on sell thru to non service provider segment in India including leverage (if any) on global influenced sales.  a. Non service provider segments being - Defence, Govt, Enterprise - Banking, Enterprise - non banking, Transport and Energy & limited named SP accounts.  b. Drive a - long tail - breadth partner program thru niche partners.  c. plus broad scale - partner program in non SP segements.  d. And a dedicated depth program with select few   3. In partnership with the direct coverage large SP account teams- plan, build and execute a - sell-thru- GTM plan for our products (in particular IP router enterprise portfolio) - to build a telco sell thru program to large enterprise and SMEs- . This program too - will be focused limited to vital few SP partners - in line with 3 year plan priorities.  4. This role - would also need to contribute and manage (on need basis) global alliance programs   Main activities would involve -   1. Lead development and execution of a strategy to drive relationships with partners and increase the percentage of business partners deliver to us  2. Develop the joint value proposition with partners to selected end accounts.  3. Enable technical readiness of our partners, proactively build the skill base at partner community  5. Building deep relationships at the most strategic level within the partner-similar to a dedicated account coverage - and implementing strategies that drive go to market (GTMs) solutions offerings.  6. Working very closely with account sales teams and product unit (RBC ) teams to increase overall partner integration  7. Evangelizing and develop tactics for going to market together to effectively block competition.  8. Train and enable partners by getting up to speed on the appropriate products and solutions.  Qualifications :  1. 12-15 + years of experience across Consulting / Sales / Channels / Alliances  2. Bachelors degree + MBA / other significant business experience  3. Experience with creating and building differentiated relationships with Indian partners  4. Ability to create credible business cases highlighting revenue growth opportunities  5. Demonstrated ability to drive significant revenue through partnerships.  6. Demonstrated strong customer skills and internal skills in matrix environment .  7 Highly motivated, energy levels and independent contributor  8. Entrepreneurial driven and ability to plan, incubate, build and grow bizs from scratch
