iLabs is a New Delhi based incubator with team members from INSEAD/Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia University, IIT (Kanpur), IIT (Delhi)/London Business School. We are seeking 2 full time Entrepreneur-in-Residents (EiR) to lead one or more incubated startups (equity only). The EiR will be an integral part of the iLabs team, acting with significant levels of autonomy and responsibility. Candidates for this position should be excited and knowledgeable about consumer internet industry, have management skills or a demonstrated ability to work productively in fast paced startup environment, be driven to identify and solve problems, and have an innate compulsion to build useful things and companies (and some understanding of the processes and challenges involved in doing so). Attention to details is highly desirable.

The EiR will act as the overall business champion for one or more business concepts, leading growth and organization development, helping develop and expand the market case, completing the business model, and guiding operations and implementation. The EiR will have access to iLabs team, resources, and infrastructure. However, this is a hands-on role that requires individual accountability and effective operation across a spectrum of subject matter, time frames, and complexity.

The EiR, with support from the iLabs will:

- Create companies and/or assist existing ones with the expectation of active involvement in 1-2 early stage companies at a time.

- Lead these startups in product development or in developing business and sales strategies, and acquiring key customers.

- Develop and hone business concept(s) to target compelling, actionable long-term market opportunities.

- Draft product architecture, determine product specifications, deliver technology product, and ensure appropriate quality control.

- Identify, validate and deliver product to a viable market segment; supervise market research, and market trials.

- Create and implement marketing plan and business development plan.

- Determine business and revenue model and manage project company-level budgets

- Assist in recruiting.

- Assist in company spin out process and, where applicable, external fundraising.

- Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, and integrity
