IGATE - Senior Principal Architect - Infrastructure (12-20 yrs)
Required Skills:
- 15+ Years of experience in server class computing technologies, including X86 and RISC, with experience across lifecycle (Design, Deploy, Manage, Migrate, Decommission)
- Expertise in converged solutions (Cisco UCS/Vblock) architecture
- Expertise in large scale DC migrations and consolidations
- Should have proficiency in at least 2 server virtualization technologies (HyperV/vmware/Zones/LPAR/VPAR)
- Ability to work with senior staff of client organization and derive consolidation and migration strategies
- Exposure to Aws/Azure is a must
- Exposure to Disaster Recovery and BCP operations and solutions is a must
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Roles and Responsilities:
- Lead compute solutions team responding to large pursuits and RFPs.
- Identify emerging trends and evaluate them.
- Identify prospective partnerships and alliances related to compute / converged solutions and Hybrid cloud.
- Maintain a telescopic view of solutions horizon and microscopic view of solutions development.
- Responsible for developing new solutions for large pursuits and RFPs on compute infrastructure space.
- Lead large scale migration, consolidation and transformation projects around compute infrastructure
