IFMR - Associate Director - Credit - Small Business & Housing Finance (5-8 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
IFMR Capital is looking for a Director with 5-8 years of experience to join its Origination team.
The Associate Director- Credit will be primarily responsible for the credit of SBL and Housing asset classes at IFMR Capital. This would also include:
- Designing, streamlining and managing the process of credit function specific to SBL and Housing asset classes
- Closely working with other teams at IFMR Capital and enable execution of business on the basis of superior understanding of risk
- Building and updating asset class benchmarks basis the primary and secondary data in addition to on field diligence and risk monitoring
- Proactively updating the credit and risk screens specific to the SBL, Housing asset classes
- Owning the deal execution and managing the transaction support systems/processes
- Build and lead the team to manage this
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA or Post Graduate in Management from a premier institute/Chartered Accountant/CFA
Minimum Experience :
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in consultancy and advisory preferably in corporate strategy/ banking / financial services industry
Skills Required :
- Experience in credit and risk/ banking / financial services industry
- Strong understanding of corporate/credit analysis
- Ability to conceptualise the businesses, due diligence, and deliver the product in the form of presentations, documents and business planning simulations on excel sheets
- Knowledge of legal framework, RBI/NHB/SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable laws/regulations required for transactions
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to stretch oneself and work under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivated individual having an ability to work individually, be part of and manage a team.
- Willingness to travel
