Required Skills:

- 5 - 7 years of financial industry experience which should include risk analytics, risk management, consumer risk, retail banking experience within banking industry

- Strong knowledge of risk management and internal control principles

- Strong analytical and problem solving ability; ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and evaluate correlations and synthesize data driven insights.

- Ability to gather and analyze information, design tests and verification procedures to confirm accuracy and strengths of a given control point.

Industry Preference : Banking/ BFSI

Role Description:

- Appraising credit proposals, conducting risk analysis & scrutinizing relevant documents, ensuring compliance with bank's credit policies.

- Engage in undertaking credit rating assignments of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across various sectors such as pharmaceuticals, education, steel, automobile, textile, and real estate.

- Underwriting the credit proposals in respect of SME units. Carrying out in-depth analysis of the financial statements of the SME units and accordingly, charting out viable credit limits (both fund based and non fund based credit exposure) and term borrowings.

- Preparation of credit proposals for SME clients and presenting the same to the zonal credit committee for sanction & performing credit evaluations of SMEs.

- Studying the prevalent market & industry conditions to analyze the client requirement, which in turn, helps in decision making in terms of loan sanction. Carrying out post sanction operational activities viz: monitoring the health of the portfolio, identifying early warning signals, supervision and controlling delinquency and credit loss, regular unit visits, preparation and analysis of credit MIS etc.

- Responsible for reviewing the working capital proposals of SME clients.

- Managing various credit operations involved for retail and SME clients including appraising proposals, conducting risk analysis, assigning internal rating to clients & scrutinizing relevant documents before sanctioning the limits to clients.

- To work with Sales team on deal structuring to tap business opportunities in perceived low-risk or/& high returns segments

- To conduct due diligence, site visits and discussion with the borrowers with a view to ensuring portfolio quality

- Complying with the various checks involved during the course of appraisals like CIBIL, credit reports, reduplication report, Field investigation report, technical report and legal report and RCU report.

- Monitoring post loan disbursement activities including account management, trends in the client business, identifying the macro environment which may impact the client business, transformation of risk scoring etc

- Generating need based financial performance/ MIS/costing/ other reports for purpose of submission to top management for strategic decision making
