Job Description: Retail Asset Operations.

Title: Retail Asset Operations Manager

Reporting Into: Head Retail Asset Operations

Job Responsibilities:

The Candidate is expected to help setting up the Retail Asset Operations by working closely with all stakeholders.

This involves:

1. Drafting a blueprint for setting up of Retail Asset Operations and defining the process for:

- Documentation Requirement across products

- Data Entry, Validation and Disbursement across Systems

- Processes to deal with Distribution Channel of the Bank

- Query Management across Distribution Channel

- Processes to check mi-selling across the bank.

- Processes to update branches on new processes, procedures.

- Contribute to new product development.

- Ensure Comprehensive Documentation, Storage, safekeeping of files.

- Underwriting Checks & Controls across products

- PDC Safekeeping, ECS Registration & Triggering Collections across Products

- Processes associated with maturity, ceasing, seizure and disposal of assets.

- Partner / Vendor Management.

- Client / Business Queries & Processes

2. Continuous evaluation of Processes with a focus on bringing in improvement

3. Interactions with Consumer Banking focused on improving the control environment and improving on TAT's.

4. Contribute to drafting policies for regular monitoring and reviewing existing systems and procedures and design internal controls /quality audit checks for various processes.

5. Ensuring the processes and policies are compliant and streamlined within the Regulatory Guidelines.

6. Production of various MIS / Analytics / Dashboard for review with Senior Management & Business.

7. Working with all Partners / Vendors so selected to maintain risk & control.

8. During the setup stage of the bank, create processes in line with the overall organizations objective by regular interactions with business and allied functions.

9. Ensuring that the Operations are run at a level of Cost, Accuracy, Efficiency, Customer Delight in line with Organizational Objectives.

10. Develop a BCP / DR Framework and continuously improve upon it.

11. Ability to look at obstacles / problems as challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Critical Skills / Competencies.

- Communications Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, decisively, across levels is required.

- Decisiveness: The right candidate shall demonstrate good logical / analytical skills backed by data and gut feel to lead the organization towards its objectives.

Technical Skills:

In depth knowledge about all aspects of Retail Banking Operations specifically Asset Mortgage Operations. Specifically must have hands on experience on:

- Documentation Requirement across products

- Data Entry, Validation and Disbursement across Systems

- Processes to deal with Distribution Channel of the Bank

- Query Management across Distribution Channel

- Processes to check mi-selling across the bank.

- Processes to update branches on new processes, procedures.

- Contribute to new product development.

- Ensure Comprehensive Documentation, Storage, safekeeping of files.

- Underwriting Checks & Controls across products

- PDC Safekeeping, ECS Registration & Triggering Collections across Products

- Processes associated with maturity, ceasing, seizure and disposal of assets.

- Partner / Vendor Management.

- Client / Business Queries & Processes

- All round experience of working with multiple CBS and Loan Systems.

- Experienced in handling multiple vendors (specialized in Banking Operations) and a demonstrable track record in bringing improvements.

- Very good understanding of all RBI Rules and Regulations associated with Operations.

- Ability to develop intermediate systems and workflows interfacing with mainframe systems.

- Ability to maintain control over an outsourced set of operations with a lean team.

- Must have worked in a branch and has a very good understanding of Branch Processes

Previous Experience: 7- 10 years in a Retail Consumer Bank / Retail NBFC
