IDFC Bank - Supplier Relationship Manager (10-17 yrs)
Job Description :
- The individual will work closely with suppliers and various business groups within IDFC to lead and manage supplier relationships.
- This person will work independently to execute the strategy within the organization ensuring that this initiative is implemented and supplier/ business understand its significance.
- Supplier risk management will also be key as part of this program which would involve working with external agencies.
Responsibilities will be as under :
- To develop the initiative schedule basis the defined guideline
- Managing supplier relationships end to end
- End to end management of supplier contract life cycle
- Maintaining approved supplier list for various categories and regularly updating the same
- Tiering of supplier and keeping the list updated at regular intervals
- Conducting training for various supplier managers/ teams associated with the program
- Coordinate with Audit and Compliance teams from regulatory perspective
- Well versed with various related matters Supplier Risk, contractual obligations etc
- 3rd party resource management like contractors
- Should be able to challenge the processes and recommend efficiency / productivity improvement
- Present executive summary to senior management
- Ensure all controls are in place for this program.
An Ideal Candidate should possess :
- Should have minimum experience of 5 - 7 years in managing Supplier Relationship Management program, candidates with MBA are preferred.
- Contract management should be able to monitor start date, end date and other key ingredients of the contracts,Will be the custodian of all contracts / agreements.
- Supplier management should be able to manage relationship with vendors / suppliers / partners. Should be able to maintain a list of tier1 / 2 / 3 vendors as applicable, basis the importance and usage as defined by the user.
- Business management should be able to do define review parameters of vendors basis their tiering
- Audit / compliance should be able to ensure compliance of all processes with regards to his process
- Should understand vendor ratings like Crisil and DNB
- Should be able to understand process of doing a background verification of a vendor
- Should have experience in working on complex requirements
- A good articulator to manage conflict management.
- Should have exposure of interacting at Senior management level
- Should have experience in managing such program in large and complex environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being adaptable and culturally aware.
Educational Qualifications :
MBA or equivalent
