IDFC Bank - Lead - Bharat Banking Branch Operations

Responsible for the branch operations and service delivery to the customers of the rural branches (tier 2 - 6) and provide leadership to the branch, cluster & state teams.

Key Responsibilities

The role will be a leadership role within the rural operations team and will be responsible for all the operations related to the branches.

The person will be responsible for:-

Developing and training staff members ensuring that they are fully aware of the Bank's products, processes, procedures and practices. The operations team in the branches should be well trained to deliver high standards of customer services offered by the Bank

Monitoring the day-to-day Operations and administration of the Branches, ensuring strict compliance with Bank's policies and procedures.

Tracking and monitoring TATs across all services offered by the branches and resolving operational challenges faced by the branch teams.

Adhere to high ethical standards and ensure compliance with banks own and regulatory guidelines and facilitate audits

Contribute to the branch related processes like cash, clearing transactions, secured stationary mgmt., account opening and other financial transactions.

Liaise / co-ordinate with other depts/seniors like sales, product, IT, PDG and central operations for implementing changes in processes, procedures & systems.

Managing the escalation for complaints and needs to ensure that all customer complaints are resolved on-time to the customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should have handled state / area operations role for 3-5 years covering atleast 40-50 branches in a bank.

The person should have good understanding of banking operations ranging from cash management, BCP, transaction handling (FT, DD issuance, disbursements etc) and the file processing / account opening processes

Should be well versed with regulatory requirements including AML and KYC related aspects

Should have experience of handling team and remote management

MBA from a premier Institute or equivalent
