Job Description :

- Lead and be responsible for all audits of Corporate Lending, Commercial Banking and Trade Finance businesses

- Lead and be responsible for a team of auditors

- Develop and implement an effective audit strategy for the above audit areas - proactive identification of Risk Areas, design audit procedures to identify and mitigate the risks, design of MIS to assist Head IA to take decisions with respect to audits

- Execute all audits of the above function as per the audit plan

- Write effective reports for the above audits

- Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees

- Communicate with senior management in the above functions with respect to audit findings and report closure

- Collaborate with the Internal Audit team and contribute to the development of the IA function in the Bank

- Assist Head - IA with preparation of the annual risk based audit plan for the relevant areas

- Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

- Contribute to achievement of corporate objectives by engendering a culture of continuous improvement

An Ideal Candidate should possess:

- CA/MBA/Master Degree in Finance from a Premier Institute

- Experience of 12-15 Years in Internal Audit department in the BFSI domain

- Exposure to credit audits in the BFSI sector

- Experience to have led a team of people

- Experience of operating at a strategic level within the business and demonstrating success in implementing major strategic initiatives

- Experience of working in a fast moving environment and ability to work at pace

- An excellent understanding of Indian financial services market and regulatory environment with in-depth knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques, and principles
