Develop Big Data Hadoop based technology initiatives

- Build large scale, high performance software systems based on Hadoop framework. Hadoop developer tools deployment and enabling required software stack

- Extract, Translate and Load disparate data sets in multiple formats/sources

- Supervise the development of various analytical projects that involves usage of the tools and techniques like working on HDFS cluster, MapReduce, and elastic MapReduce.

- Supervise and enable tools like Kafka, Spark, Storm, Elastic-search, Java-MapReduce, Hive, PIG, HBase, R and Python etc. to implement the solutions

Develop Big Data analytical solution for business consumption

- Supervise delivery of regular reports from big data source for business consumption

- Translate the business problem into statistical / Data science problem and provide the relevant understanding to the team.

- Develop solutions based on ML methods like Supervised, Unsupervised Machine Learning using SVD, PCA, SVM, Gaussian Process, Neural Nets, Deep Nets, Genetic Algorithms, Random Forest, Boosting Machines etc. and statistical algorithms like K-means clustering, Regression, Logistic Regression, Mixed Modeling, Optimization methods etc.

- Standardize the processes to replicate them for different circles in shorter turnaround time (TAT). Ensure that the solutions are rolled out across circles within a defined TAT.

Develop operationalization process for identified analytical solutions

- Co-ordinate with external & internal IT vendors and ensure that due diligence is maintained at the operational end in terms of delivery time and quality of the output

- Forecast the potential challenges during operationalization phase & plan out mitigation approach to address the same.

- Ensure that the learnings from the previous projects are factored in while planning for new operationalization plan.

- Automate the processes of the whole Solution development phase for lesser TAT as and when necessary.

Monitor & calibrate existing processes

- Evaluate the performance of existing operational models on a regular basis.

- Develop & implement the challenger models whenever it is outperforming the existing model
