Job Profile:
- Business Development responsible for increasing share of business in the assigned customer segment/ geographies
- Portfolio Management responsible for ensuring healthy product mix and managing overall profitability of the portfolio keeping in line overall organizational needs and future growth expectations
- Client Relationship develop relationships across levels including Senior Management and other stakeholders to take advantage of changing market scenario
- Claims management and meaning engagement with internal stakeholders on claim reviews
- Team Management to lead a team of Managers towards achieving business objectives in a given industry segment/ geographical area or a group of companies allocated for this purpose
- Expected to help MO's/ RM's in their training & career development needs and help identify future leaders
- Involves smooth coordination with other departments such as underwriting, reinsurance, products specialists and accounts
- Actively liaise with internal/ external stakeholders towards structuring large & specialized product deals
- Expected to help Managers in their training & career development needs and help identify future leaders
Candidate Profile:
Education: MBAs from premier institute
Experience: Minimum 6 years post qualification experience in Corporate Sales
- Demonstrated quality to handle a team of 6-8 people across various geography, especially in corporate market
- The candidate should have a flair for sales, high on initiative, results orientation, good relationship building, analytical & presentation skills.
- High on tender driven business, intermediary driven business as well as direct account relationship
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Eagerness to learn complex and new age product
- Open to travel across locations towards meeting business objectives
- To be a role model for internal stakeholder. A brand ambassador for external stakeholder Able to identify potential market, mapping ability and execution of sales projects
- Owner of P&L, and focus on quality business growth
- Excellent command in MS office especially in MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and database management software
- Strong analytical skill, out of box thinker and should be a process champion
- Prior General Insurance experience & Insurance certification/ courses is an added advantage
