They also guide the Business groups in defining and scoping projects and help in selecting appropriate technology solutions  Group Profile   The group is responsible for managing all business technology projects for the Government Banking Group (GBG). This team interfaces with application vendor/Government Organisations/business/product/operation groups within GBG/WBG/CoBG with responsibility to manage key project initiatives, prioritize deliverables, streamline existing platforms and create a strong information reporting infrastructure.   Purpose of the Job   To liaise with product and operation teams in GBG, for initiatives critical to business roll out, across their areas of operation.  A solution oriented approach and provide leadership in creating a Technical and Solution architecture for GIB (Government Internet Banking) across different workstreams. The two functional verticals this position will lead are:-  GIB - Payments : This position is responsible for creating the next generation technical capaibilities for managing Governement disbursments including central schemes like NRHM (National Rural Health Ministry), Subsidy Payment across different schemes and other central and state level schemes. The solution integrates with IPS for payments, Payment Gateway/iCore & Credit/Debit card payments  GIB - Collections: This position is responsible for creating the next generation of capabilities around collection of tax including GST, State, Direct/Indirect. In addition to these the capabilities needed for other government revenue solutions like Ministry of civil aviation and other fee based solution needs to be created.   Other skills needed  - Monitor work progress against schedule baseline  - Monitor project risks for any mitigation efforts taken;   - Collaborate with peers/leaders in other teams to gather requirements for process improvements  Key deliverables  - Timely and accurate deliveries of projects, having large impact on business roll outs in the government business.   - Systemize the project implementation process.  - Create capabilities that are ahead of the completion  Person Requirement  The job would require the applicant to have a good understanding or project management and exposure across different departments / functional areas of the bank.
