TWC Sales Engineer  KRA's  - The Sales Engineer (SE) will serve as the data science/meteorological/analytics technical resource for sales activities and engagements, working hand-in-hand with TWC business development managers (BDM) and IBM sellers to support sales activities and liaise between IBM and TWC data science/meteorological/technical resources.   - SE will align TWC technical & meteorological resources to support sales engagements, and actively engage the BDM's in the development of technical account plans and proposals. SE will apply consultative solution selling skills to conduct discovery activities, translate needs into complex solutions, articulate unique value and drive sales to meteorological/technical closure for relevant opportunities. This includes delivering demos, trials, proofs-of-concepts and post-sales diagnostic support - or create the appropriate infrastructure for demos, trials, and proofs-of-concepts to be delivered by IBM sales teams.   - SE will serve as a liaison to TWC to ensure relevant seller/customer feedback on product and process improvements is considered. SE will conduct knowledge transfer sessions to educate IBM resources with the latest data science, meteorological, industry and product knowledge. SE will be responsible for maintaining deep meteorological and technical expertise across multiple product, solutions and industry verticals.   Essential Duties :  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  1.Coordinate and support all data science/meteorological/ technical sales activities for sellers, BDM- s, customers and prospects in assigned territory. Deliver technical presentations and conduct whiteboard discussions to address customer needs. If required, align internal resources to support customer engagements with sellers.  2.Lead in the development of meteorological/technical account plans and proposals to drive sales to meteorological/technical closure for relevant opportunities. Proactively plan to prevent post-sales issues that can impact time to revenue.  3.Create fast insights through predictive modelling and the design of appropriate data models, analytical models and algorithms to support proposal and project objectives  4.Maintain high-level contacts within IBM, and build strong relationships with the goal of achieving trusted advisor status with sales leaders and relevant customers. Link knowledge of TWC's products and strategies with IBM/customer strategies to establish and maintain mutually beneficial, long-term strategic partnerships.  5.Consult with sales leaders to discover issues and understand business requirements; translate needs into appropriate solutions
