What is ibibo Ryde?

At Ryde, we are affecting lives of millions of daily travellers. Ryde is a trusted platform which connects people to share their rides and journeys with each other. Its a modern version of traditional car-pooling which embrace people to choose their preferred co-travellers.

We're looking for a right-brained person who is passionate about strategizing, conceiving, designing, building, and bringing to market innovative products. The position will involve developing the product strategy for the Ryde platform and taking it to the next level while expanding base within Indian market. Based out of Gurgaon, this person will be working with our little crazy, little mad team, building both Web and Mobile app.

Who are we looking for?

- If you love digging deep into data, product metrics and utilizing it to continuously improve upon the product then this opportunity is not to be missed because data is our mother tongue.

- 3-5 years of Mobile or Internet industry with exposure to e-commerce, Mobile Native App (Android or iOS) and Mobile Web development.

- Customer focused approach to problems with solid understanding of mobile behaviour.

- A solid understanding of how to leverage social media as a channel to create positive network-effect.

- An understanding of what makes for good user experience and to the point usability.

- A - Can do- attitude and a willingness to learn new domain and technologies.

- A Self-Starter/Team Player who is excited by a fast-paced environment and the accountability that comes with owning large projects.

- Guts to dream big and the drive to make this dream a reality.

What will you do?

- Lead the Product- LifeCycle from conception through design, build, release, analysis and iteration.

- Create out of the box detailed specification of features and think through the edge cases.

- Design simple and intuitive user interfaces through wire frames and mock ups.

- Engage and work closely with user experience (UX) and engineering to provide guidance development and testing.

- Liaison with the internal Marketing/Engineering team to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

- Work with engineering team to scope product delivery for releases and understand development alternatives as well as support build/buy economics when applicable.

- Own and drive user adoption of products.
