Location : 2 permanent positions, 1 each to be based out of San Jose, CA and Rockville, MD

Experience: Around 7 to 10 years or which at least 2 years should be directly relevant

Academic Qualification:

- Graduate Engineering Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Telecom / Computers Science & Engineering OR a relevant related qualification

- Post Graduate Engineering Degree Holders may also apply

- An MBA qualification though not mandatory would be an added advantage

Mandatory Skills Required:

For Manager - Sales & Business Development

- Goal oriented, hands-on experience in Sales life-cycle (prospecting, lead qualification, requirement understanding, proposal presentation and Sales closure).

- Experience is selling in the North American geography in the Telecom OEM and Media space in North America

OR

For Assistant Manager - Sales & Business Development

- Extensive pre-sales experience and exposure to sales life-cycle (prospecting, lead qualification, requirement understanding, proposal presentation and Sales closure) in Telecom OEM, Media, Carrier and ISV space.

Additionally, all candidates must possess:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to travel extensively on business in North America (expected travel upto 50%)

- Affable personality with a proven record in interworking with other functions (esp. Between Engineering & Sales).

- Clear understanding of concepts in communications engineering, modern telecom networking and applications and the ability to do solution selling to customers

- Ability to meet and communicate with product managers or VP engineering titles in customers

- Authorization to work in the US

Desired Skills Required (Preferred but not mandatory):

- Exposure to market analysis & research

- Exposure to working with Indian companies

Key Work Accountabilities / Responsibilities for the Position Holder:

- Planning and executing sales plan for the region in US Geography

- Selling to accounts in the Telecom OEM, Media, Carrier and ISV space,

- Territory development in USA-Canada regions

- Ensuring sales growth through [i] addition of new accounts and [ii] Revenue enhancement in existing accounts

- Create Sales pitch for new identified market segments and identify trends

- Devise the Go-To-Market strategy for new offerings

- Travel to various international locations for business meetings, conferences and exhibitions.

Any Additional Information:

- Should have strong hunter skills to get new accounts

- Exposure to sales of software intensive services related to any of the following would be a big plus: Wireless Cellular, Media, Satellite, Datacom (IP, MPLS, Automotive), Converged Mobile Applications and Embedded Engineering, Smart phones and handheld devices such as Tablets.
