It is proposed to hire Head - Sales & Marketing for Hughes Global Education who shall be responsible for heading the Education business of Hughes. S/he shall be responsible for P&L of education business and will be responsible for building strategic frameworks, policies & processes towards maintaining relationship with premiere institutes, corporates and franchisee partners.

Hughes is the largest provider of broadband satellite network and services to business and government in India. Hughes Global Education is a premier interactive onsite learning through satellite based education and training service initiative by Hughes, for corporate and working professionals/ Students. It has live, interactive, real-time, two way video, voice and data classes, and spread across 155 classrooms in 75 cities. Job Description

Role: Head - Sales & Marketing

Qualification: B. Tech., MBA from Premiere Institute

Relevant Experience: 15+ plus years of relevant experience

Job Location: Gurgaon

Strategic Role

SWOT based analysis of market & Hughes in education business and plan efforts towards expansion & development of new segments/content partners in Technical & Management Education courses for delivery over technology.

Strategic Marketing and Brand Building. Strategic Marketing and Brand Building for enhancing the network, lead generation, conversion into applications and generation of revenue. Identification and segregation of potential Market Segments, Revenue generation through new account development and key account management

Product/ Program Development. Specific product/ program development by working with premiere institutes in field of management and technical areas based on market feedback, success rate of existing programs and demand in the market.

Institutional Alliances/ Tie-ups with colleges/ Build & Maintain relationships with institutes. Governance and Management of academic relationship with premiere institutes, execution of agreements, ontime roll out of programs, operations delivery management resulting in smooth business partnership with institutes.

Lead Retail metro & non metro and Corporate Sales team across country to generate P&L of Rs. 500M and plan for growth of business year on year. Work towards motivation and team work of Sales team to ensure more than100% results from Sales team. Plan and adopt strategies/ actions for enhancing both B2B and B2C sales.

Manage relationships and develop Channel Partners. Identify, develop, manage franchisees for running study center in metro and non metro. Manage services and generation of business thru franchise partners and ensure quality and best delivery of services for the applicants. Set up Quality audit process for ensuring the uniformity of actions across different regional franchises. Devise strategies and models for enhancing effectiveness and productivity of franchisee partners.

Constantly monitor market Intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc. and suggest appropriate actions for growth and smooth functioning of the business.

Skills:

- Leadership and managerial skills to manage and grow the business.

- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) to influence, interact, convenience, strategize and lead. Ability to interact with Senior Faculty/ Dean/ Director of top B-schools in India

- Academic exposure for content and syllabi of Management and Technical certification programs.

- Should have past experience of managing Business Unit/ Function and have had P&L responsibility.

- People and task oriented person who believes in trust, empathy, and business zeal and believes in growing with the business.

- Expanding the reach of business through identification of new geographies
