Roles & Responsibilities

- Commitment to high quality, awesome execution, high level of ownership, thought leadership and technical excellence to assure the quality of all project deliverables

- Develop and execute plans for delivering product in rapid iterations and with high predictability

- Build, manage and coach a high performance engineering teams QE team

- Plan and implement effective product testing strategies and tools to drive functional and non-functional testing e.g. stress, performance, security testing, etc

- Develop and improve QA best practices

- Foster collaboration in quality assurance efforts with members of cross-functional teams including providing feedback on requirements, design and how the development team can improve quality, testability, operability and maintainability

- Assist business in product launches & customer adoption

- Communicate effectively within the organization including publishing Product Quality Reports and status reports

Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E., Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.)

- 10+ years of software quality assurance and/or engineering experience that includes deep quality assurance understanding, solid technical understanding, and extraordinary passion for growing and applying quality and technical skills in service to customers

- 4+ years quality assurance leadership and mentoring teams of QE engineers

- 3+ years experience in Test Automation including GUI and API level preferably using Selenium and Silk Test. Experience with Test harness development

- 2+ years Java/J2EE software development professional experience or white box testing preferred

- 1+ year of Experience with Agile software development process

- Experience with testing non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability and load testing

- Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks

- Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills are required

- Outstanding problem solving skills with a history of assuring the development of high quality software
