Job Title: HR Shared Services Leader  HR Shared Services is a core service function within the client organization, providing multiple HR support services including Workforce Administration, Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning administration and Performance Management support to client's member firms.   This includes leading the Shared Services team, overseeing all Shared Services operations in accordance with the established policies, procedures and service level agreements whilst building positive and productive relationships with customer representatives.  Shared Services provides services to Country, Region, Area and Global Talent teams and other stakeholders involved in HR, L&D and recruiting transactions and associated administration, reporting and people infrastructure.  Key Responsibilities:  - Manage, monitor and review the overall quality of service across all Shared Services processes within a multiple country/ multiple language environment on a timely basis. Ensure adherence to service level agreements and deliver high quality, cost effective and efficient services;  - Work with customer representatives and client's Leadership to develop appropriate strategic and tactical Shared Services transitions and implement successfully. Monitor and report progress on a timely basis.   - Ensure smooth and timely transition of new work to GSS (in coordination with GSS transition support functions)  - Develop, maintain and review appropriate work instructions and appropriate training materials for Shared Services employees. Ensure clear role profiles are available for each team member.  - Interview and hire staff, liaising with the Global Service Function Leader where required.   - Manage, coach and develop all direct reports in line with client's Performance Management and Development Programs and related initiatives. Ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place for all Shared Services staff in coordination with local and client wide training protocols.  - Prepare and review the annual budget for Shared Services in the centre in conjunction with overall Shared Services budget time lines and monitor actual financial results against agreed targets.  - Challenge both existing Shared Services and customer HR processes and approaches. Think creatively and provide innovative suggestions that will improve service delivery. Prioritize and manage the implementation of multiple initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.  - Act as an escalation point for all service delivery issues and ensure timely closure of all issues to the satisfaction of the customer.  - Continually review and maintain the Shared Services organization structure, ensuring resources are available and capable of meeting agreed business and customer requirements, including periods of peak demand and absence. Ensure resource requirements are planned in advance of any future service offerings or changes to service delivery.  - Role holder will be responsible for overall service delivery and service quality and will have a number of direct reports – based on the Shared Services organization structure in that location.  Key Skills and Experience Required:  - Bachelors degree or above from a commercial, business or HR related discipline.  - Postgraduate qualification, such as an MA or MBA in a relevant specialism.  - At least 12+ years of progressive experience including 7+ years of management experience from a large organization, either partnership or multi-national corporation.  - In depth working experience from Human Resources, Shared Services Centre operations and/or BPO operations.  - Proven ability to lead teams, demonstrate leadership competencies including coaching skills.  - Positive, can-do attitude and strong business acumen.  - Excellent organization, analytical and problem solving skills.  - Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills – able to handle conflict situations and resolve issues satisfactorily.  - Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mindset”.  - Outstanding spoken and written English (proficiency in other European languages are preferable).  - Demonstrable facilitation and presentation skills.
