Location-Mumbai

SCOPE OF ROLE:

- To lead the HR Service Delivery function in India by providing benchmarked process, optimizing delivery, cost governance to achieve country business performance.

- To support Regional HR Performance Reward Benefit Delivery (PRBD) Head in driving the Group PRBD agenda in the region.

- To build strong network with all local regulatory authorities & stake holders.

- Assist the Head of HR in the capacity of a UORM in directing and overseeing the day-to-day management of operational risks at the business level including driving and directing compliance in each Business Unit level business. In addition, drive and implement an effective risk management framework, and promote a strong risk management and a compliance culture.

- The role holder is responsible for the successful & seamless roll out / implementation of HR transformation agenda / project initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

- Provide leadership to HR Function in change management, process design and other continuously improving the way we work initiatives.

- Support the HR Transformation agenda by implementing the initiatives in India within agreed timelines and as per standards.

- Work with the Regional HR PRBD team to deliver the HR PRBD agenda and the Strategic People Agenda for the region.

- Design, develop and implement initiatives, in consultation with Head Service Delivery & Group PRBD.

- Develop, review, establish and recommend HR processes to enable the function to deliver its business strategy and drive business performance.

- Prepare Budgets, forecasts, Monitor cost lines for HR function and initiate actions required meeting budgetary requirements/ targets.

- Ensure service delivery structure is aligned to business; HR productivity, HR headcount and costs are optimal.

- Manage efficient delivery of HR processing activities through HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) by establishing Service Level standard for each process and ensure that a regular review of HRSSC performance is held.

- Facilitate monthly FORC meetings and ensure its effectiveness through driving agenda and robust discussion in meetings with adequate end to end coverage of issues.

- To undertake periodic self-assessment on key controls to assess the proper functioning and adequacy of existing controls.

- Embed a customer service culture and drive service excellence through partnership with HRSSC.

- Drive Engagement and talent development within the team.

- Vendor Management- Ensure governance around all processes outsourced to vendors, ensure cost efficiency.

- Delivery Performance, Reward & Benefits agenda for India with help of PRBD specialist team

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Graduate/Post graduate with relevant experience both at operational and strategic level,

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, influencing skills.

- Strong process orientation, ownership and follow-through.

- Good communication skills, high on customer focus

- In depth knowledge of all subjects in HR Operations specially in Payroll & with experience of international practices preferred.
