HR-Manager

Location: Mumbai

Key Accountabilities

- Strategic workforce planning.

- Organisation design.

- Capability: this includes, but is not limited to, recruitment planning, performance management, talent strategies and the creation, roll-out and on-going management of the AcadeMy.

- Engagement: To deliver effective plans to help increase employee engagement, both with the brands and with employee roles.

- Generalist HR activities

Additional responsibilities will include :

- Lead annual HR processes in conjunction with HR Corporate guidelines – for example, performance management, compensation planning, promotions, objective setting,

- Develop, maintain and implement HR policies, procedures and programmes to meet the needs of the organisation and ensure legislative and company compliance.

- Ensure appropriate processes and practices are in place for the management of personnel information and documentation and that this is handled in accordance with legislative and corporate guidelines

- Maintain and awareness of national HR issues, trends and strategies within and beyond the industry and where appropriate work with corporate headquarters to initiate changes to company practice as required.

- Coordinate organisational changes according to business needs by taking into consideration relocation, job development opportunities, terminations, headcount and organisational objectives.

- Lead and deliver against India recruitment needs

- Facilitate development committees and other processes to ensure that all recruitment, selection and succession planning activities are robust, fair and equitable and support business needs. Undertake recruitment and selection processes in conjunction with management.

- Identify training and development opportunities to meet the development needs to the business, develop and/or implement programmes to address needs.

- Ensure staff consultation occurs in line with legislative requirements, providing employee relations advice to management as required.

- Proactive employee communications activities

- Cascade employee engagement survey and follow up with action planning

- Effectively managing ER situations through the grievance and disciplinary processes

- Co-ordination of payroll with external provider

- Administration of benefits and timekeeping processes

- Undertaking ad hoc HR projects that occur throughout the year
