Location : Shahapur (Near Mumbai)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Handling the complete IR and HR function of the plant. Very strong exposure in wage settlement and IR matters is mandatory for the position
- Devising remuneration policies, including pay packages for newly hired employees and executing the same.
- Managing matters related to statutory/regulatory compliance like: Handling inspections, registrations, licences, and renewals under various Acts like Factories Act, Contract Labour (Regulations & Abolition) Act, ESI Act, Industrial Establishment (National & Festival Holidays) Act, Payment of Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Employment Exchange Act, Maternity Benefit Act, Water & Air Act (Pollution Control Board), Workmen Compensation Act, Standing Orders Act etc.
- Registrations and discussions with Professional Tax, Inspector of Factories, Labour Department, ESI, PF etc.
- Holding discussions &negotiations with the unions. Taking necessary disciplinary actions, finalizing Memorandum of Settlements etc.
- Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends
- Consults legal staff to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
- Contractor's wages, casuals wages, mathadi workers and their wage borad, toli controls, wage agreement, Show cause notice issuance, warning conducting enquiry etc.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Candidates working in manufacturing/ factory operations are only preferred.
- Candidate should be proficient in Marathi Language
- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
- Ex-Defence candidates will have weightage.
JOB CONDITIONS : ( Office conditions/Factory conditions/Travelling etc)
- He will be based at factory and will be provided with accommodations near factory.
