Job Description:

1. Develop and implement Human Capital Strategy aligned to aggregate business strategy

2. Drive Human Management Processes for White Collar & Blue Collar employees, as appropriate,for Learning & Development, Talent Management, Talent acquisition, Succession Planning,Rewards and Recognition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Suggestion initiatives

3. Long Term and Short term Manpower Planning (Permanent, Flexible workforce, Contracted workforce) and budgeting aligned to the AOP.

4. Manpower optimisation through Productivity improvements

Wage cost reduction measures, Organisational effectiveness and redesign, Role clarity, Crossfunctional structure build up, job rotation

5. SAP HR based employee database maintenance (for both white collar & blue collar) employees

6. Ensure peaceful acceptance of organisational restructuring; prompt resolution of employee grievances

7. Maintaining cordial management-employee relation, introducing Management Charter of Expectations for negotiating win win settlements with Union Handling of issues related to Union disputes (handling multiple unions).

8. Ensure adherence to legal / statutory norms with respect to labour laws / factory / Labour acts and practices prevalent in India

9.Ensure necessary Administrative Support - Security, General Administration and Housekeeping

10. To facilitate Tata Business Excellence Model in the organisation through Strategy Implementation Workshops, development of Scorecards, MBE, participation in various fora of TQMS, development of assessors and ensure employee awareness.

11. Support for organizational initiatives (viz. LTF, WCQ, Safety, TMPS)
