General Summary :  Performs professional level Human Resource support for all Divisions. Key functional areas include employee relations, Performance and talent management as well as rolling out of key initiatives. Participates with others to identify, assess, and implement solutions to HR issues. Works with team members to create and implement HR programs Participates in the achievement of department objectives.  Essential Job Functions :  Job Function & % of Position :   HR Process Management :  - Policy maintenance  - Support and coach managers and employee with HR policies and procedures including implementation and communication, advising correct process  - Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuously improve processes, systems and technology, measurement practices, and metrics reporting for HR  - Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of services and processes  - Define and communicate internally-set quality standards; ensure that all aspects of HR work to achieve satisfactory quality and consistency  - Partner with other HR generalists, strategic staffing, compensation, talent management, communications and learning to determine needs and solutions that drive a performance management culture. (20%)  Performance Management & Talent Management :   - Support development including day to day coaching as well as training.  - Assist in the Talent Development process  - Support calibration process  - Support managers in Onboarding process, meet with new employees at onboarding, set inductions and discuss development/SMART objectives where applicable  - Support managers in setting Performance Improvement Plans, scheduling and facilitating meetings  - Support managers in setting robust development plans, absence related targets and training as a result of poor performance and/or capability  - Advise managers on level of sanctions, including demotions and transfers where relevant  - Coach managers in Performance Management process and tools  - Ensure employees and managers are aware of rights and roles within meetings and clear guidelines/expectations have been set  - Support managers before employees start LTS, encouraging RTW and understanding reasons for absence and what reasonable adjustments the Company can make  - Consider legal actions and manage any associated risks  - Complete all aspects of administration, including minutes and letters to employees, advise relevant areas of changes such as HR services/Payroll (Administer through Workday where applicable)  - Support employees and managers with any changes where applicable  - Maintain a working environment in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, and as defined in the quality manual and associated quality procedures. (35%)  Compensation & Benefits :   - Promote employee wellness to managers  - Facilitate the compensation and benefits process with employees as needed 5%  Workforce Planning :  - Manages staffing efforts by assessing staffing needs  - Manage the development of actionable, proactive metrics that drive forecasting capabilities and strategic insights 10%  Projects and Initiatives :  - Provide, planning, project coordination, and management. Deliver training for strategic initiatives, such as Workday, GCF  - Employee survey: Support the initiative by promoting,understanding results and facilitation of the action planning  - Support managers in Managers meetings, discussing key initiatives affecting employees and any relevant communications needed  - Provide guidance to the organization in managing change  - May be the HR representative on designated cross-functional teams. May have independent responsibility for other programs.   - Organize site employee activities and special events. Contact with outside vendors, H.R. community, and area businesses.  Requirements :  - Ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively, as well as ability to influence others.   - Capacity to understand people issues in the context of the bigger picture and and how the business balances and creates profit and value.  - Ability to reach agreements and consensus despite differing goals and priorities.  - Ability to use research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostic, and analytical skills.  May require occasional travel and overnight stays as required to support customer needs.  Education: B.S. degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.  Experience :  - Minimum of three years Human Resource experience. Healthcare or similarly regulated industry experience preferred.   - General knowledge of employment laws and practices required. PHR or SPHR certification where applicable preferred.  - Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs as well as other HR programs.  - Strong MS Office software experience required. Skill in database management and record keeping. Strong analytical capability with respect to compensation plans, internal equity and problem solving  - Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills required. Must be innovative and proactive in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to adapt.Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honors personal commitments.
