With strong growth plans in the APAC region, they are looking for an HR Director to launch their business in India.

Job Description:

- You will be taking part in setting up the organization from the HR perspective, especially in terms of making sure there is high quality recruitment of talent and at the same time making sure we have the right policies and procedures in place in order to be legally compliant and in line with the market situation.

- Directly reporting into the Global HR Head and dotted line to MD India, your responsibilities will include:

- HR support to the entire business, comprising of both corporate and sales on all HR activities and ensuring organizational efficiency in compliance with laws and regulations

- Conceptualization & Implementation of all HR Policies & Procedures for the Corporate office and Sales teams

- Ensure all HR support is provided in line with business goals w.r.t. recruitment, structural changes, data collection, interpretation and evaluation of appropriate remuneration issues

- Equip key assigned local business teams with appropriate tools to effectively manage their people in line with their people plans e.g. performance management, talent review, career management, succession planning, etc.

- Strategizing and implementation of end to end performance management, organizational and people development and change management initiatives within the organization

- Managing a positive relationship with local union/employee representatives at country level (if applicable)

- Advise on labour law and policy related issues concerning employees to ensure that the company is compliant

- Responsibility for HR Administration, such as payroll, benefit administration and general employee administration matters.

- Secure HR services/support to local managers (e.g. recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employment law) and contribute to global HR process delivery with inputs

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 12-15 years of HR Generalist experience in an IT/ITes organization.

- Experience in setting up operations in a start up environment with an MNC company is essential for this role.

- The incumbent will possess strong grounding in all HR disciplines and in particular in HR Policy, Recruitment, HR Compliance and Compensation.

- You are comfortable working in situations of ambiguity and in setting up systems and processes in an individual contributor role.

- MBA from a tier 1 business school (TISS, XLRI, IIM, SCMHRD etc.) is desirable.

- You possess good communication skills with excellent command over English (verbally and written) and local language (Hindi / Marathi).

- You come with a good business understanding and experience of working in a multinational matrix organization.
