HR Consultant - BFSI (1-5 yrs)
Job Purpose
To strategize and drive the HR agenda across businesses and geographies and develop the people, process and technology for all HR functions
Roles & Responsibilities
1. HR Transformation
- Assessing key functions of the HR domain with respect to the HR strategy and Business strategy
- Gather requirements for functional enhancements and develop project plans for the same
- Initiate projects and drive them along with the key stakeholders to deliver impact
- Ensuring that the projects are delivered end-to-end
- Analyzing and assessing all functions of HR to develop and align them to the strategic initiatives
- Developing the people, processes and technologies to alleviate the HR function
- Collaborating with business to proactively assess needs, build strategy and ensure implementation of strategy across the company
- Tracking and timely communicating progress to all relevant stakeholders
- Develop and cultivate relationships with various levels of management, team members and other stakeholders
- Will go in-depth into process and redesign and redefine best practices
2. Talent Acquisition
- Ensuring that the man power is in accordance with the manpower budget at all times
- Liaising with the business to constantly monitor the manpower status
- Develop mechanisms to cope up with the ad-hoc hiring
- Optimization of hiring source mix and utilizing different channels to enhance the speed, quality and efficiency of the process
- Regularly take initiatives to improve quality of hired employees at a company level
- Ensuring that key positions are filled well within TAT
- Ensuring that the cost of talent acquisition is in accordance with the hiring budget
3. Project Management
- Being an enabler to drive change initiatives with stakeholders and wider teams
- Taking up and facilitating ad-hoc projects and deliverables related to the HR strategy
- Able to drive and supervise projects across different functions, teams and geographies
- Be adept with project management tools and techniques
- Ensuring timely delivery of the project within the agreed quality and efficiency parameters
- Initiate change if modifications are required in the project scope, timeline or resources
- Driving the outcomes and initiatives drawn out of the project's findings
- Measuring the impact of the outcomes, hence the success of the project
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving root cause analysis
4. Analytics
- Able to create and assess the MISs needed for holistic view and business decisions
- Ability to analyze the data and take decisions based on observations
- Ability to scientifically analyze the processes and their efficiency
- Proficient in analyzing trends
- Regular review of talent acquisition status and team contribution
- Efficient in driving numbers across geographies and teams
Experience & Skills
- Excellent people management skills

- Excellent Business communication skills
- Masters Diploma/Degree in Human Resources
- Good numerical, analytical & problem solving skills
- Should be able to take his role beyond the obvious & cross the run-of-the-mill barrier
