The HR Adviser in the country acts as the local interface between HR and the business, a relationship manager and a change agent  - As a key part of the HR team the incumbent will work across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the business and orchestrate an end to end HR delivery for the assigned business unit.  - This position covers strategic HR topics, business partnering with leaders and employees on all levels, recruitment and operational support.   - The incumbent is expected to build strong partnerships with business leaders at a functional and geographic level while remaining an objective and independent advisor.  - The HR adviser runs a number of activities including but not limited to: policy reviews, Benefits set up and review for market competitiveness, performance management approach, restructuring, complex case management and calibration activities. They will also lead on candidate selection activities for more senior  Key aspects of the role would involve :  - Contributing to and supporting the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives by leveraging HR practices  - Driving the embedding and implementation of the Human Capital Strategy in the country recognising local needs.  - Delivering pragmatic solutions which help business achieve their strategy while being compliant with the company's philosophy and local legal requirements  - Guiding and coaching managers on people management and employee relations matters in line with company policies and best practices  - Acting in a multi-cultural environment, guiding local leaders as well as global leaders on local matters  - Devising and implementing people practices to attract, engage and develop talent in the organization  - Driving and delivering HR initiatives to support business in areas such as talent development, employee engagement, performance management, organizational change and management development.  - Providing consultancy (in cooperation with COEs) in the area of compensation and benefits benchmarking and other key HR policies and processes  - Acting as a change agent in the context of organizational change  - Assisting in recruitment of key positions  - Support the effective delivery of high performing HR services in collaboration with peers and ensuring that the high standards in the team are developed and maintained  - Drive the development and continuous improvement of HR systems, policies and practices in line with best practices  - Using HR analytics and market intelligence to understand and influence key levers to better performance and engagement of the organization  - Acting as an ambassador for the organisation's HR model and actively driving up standards to highlight benefits and working of the model  - Participating in or leading HR related local and global projects.  About You :  - 5 to 9 years HR experience in an international environment, including at least 2 years in senior HR management/consulting/partnering roles.   - Masters Degree / Professional certification, strong understanding and knowledge of all HR areas, good knowledge of employment laws.  - Excellent communication and influencing skills  - Exposure to benefits and compensation management would be an added advantage  Leadership qualities and soft skills :  - Strong client and service-orientation with strong people empathy and excellent communication skills.   - Proven ability to consult, mentor and provide conflict resolution in complex situations for employees across a variety of functions.   - Familiar with organizational management topics and have proven record of managing people (small teams) and projects.   - Good team player, creating a constructive working environment, bringing enthusiasm and handling conflict openly.   - Actively encourages and supports the development and learning of self and others. Is a self-motivated person focusing on long-term developments and prospects.  - Comfortable with analytical and cross-border thinking and have a track record working in a complex corporate matrix environment.  - High strategic and conceptualization skills, able to drive continuous improvement.   - Has the ability and willingness to work on an operational level in all HR areas.   - Strong solutions focus and are comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables.   - Good MS office skills and SAP exposure
