Headquartered in Boston, HfS Research was named Analyst Firm of the Year 2016.   Job Title: Principal Analyst (Blockchain/IoT)  Location: Bangalore, India  Role Description: The Principal Analyst tracks global Blockchain/IoT services market across different verticals and supports research & consulting projects and ad-hoc requests around Blockchain/IoT services. The Principal Analyst will also collaborate with the existing research team to produce new research in Blockchain/IoT areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in Blockchain/IoT services either as a practitioner/researcher or both, publications to his/her credit. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Blockchain/IoT Services and ability to develop & deliver compelling research agenda.  Responsibilities: The Principal Analyst will be part of larger Intelligent Digital Processes practice in HfS Research. Below are some of the duties:  - Intensively read and reflect on a wide range of business and technology news sources, collect - signals- of emerging trends, and - connect the dots- to suggest patterns of potentially important trends that merit further study in Blockchain/IoT  - Developing Blockchain/IoT services research agenda in collaboration with other HfS analysts  - Expertise in delivering qualitative and/or quantitative market research and analysis in Blockchain/IoT Services space  - Researching and developing service provider profiles, buyer profiles and industry profiles in Blockchain/ IoT services  - Tracking different service lines and different verticals in Blockchain/IoT services  - Delivering custom research projects and ad-hoc research requests from customers   - Developing PoVs, white papers and thought leadership content creation  - Organizing information internally and responsible for the Knowledge Management of the Blockchain/IoT services  - Build effective working relationships with subject matter experts within and outside the firm  Requirements:  Mandatory :   - 5+ years post-MBA relevant experience with service provider (presales, solution design) and/or research/analyst firm  - Solid understanding of Blockchain/IoT Services and ability to drive discussions with client executives  - Engineering /MBA from tier 1 college  Desired :  - Prior experience in writing engaging white papers, POVs, industry landscapes  - Intellectual curiosity and interest in tracking Blockchain/IoT services trends  - Ability to work in fast paced, small business setup with minimum supervision  - Excellent and proven communication skills   - Excellent and proven analytical skills   - Strong understanding of research and advisory business models  Only Bangalore based candidates need to apply
