POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking only at 2014 batch passed out MBA graduates from Tier 1 Campus.

HEADING: MANAGEMENT TRAINEE(MT)

PURPOSE

The Management Trainee position is responsible for working alongside managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties with the goal of eventually becoming a manager. The management trainee program will be for a period of 3 months and only after successful completion of the same the further deployment will be planned in the specified function/department (majorly sales).

CONFIRMATION PERIOD: 1 Year

DIRECT REPORTS:Will be specified as per the deployment in the role.

POSITION REPORTS TO:BRANCH MANAGER / REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Business English

- Higher Degree level education

- Business Management degree (mandatory from tier A business school)

- Conversant with local language / trade practices

EXPERIENCE/ BACKGROUND:

- Frontline work experience in retail / non retail sales with a record of over delivering on targets consistently will be preferred (pre MBA/Management degree will be preferred)

- Experience in FMCG (pre MBA/Management degree will be preferred)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS IN A SALES PROFILE:

- Primary Sales & redistribution;

- Strengthening the distribution network & infrastructure of stockists, C&FA’s to increase the width and depth of availability of all Heinz products including new sales channels;

- Execution & monitoring market inputs;

- Display & merchandising;

- Effective management of Sales Officers for motivation, training & development & productivity enhancement;

- Demonstrate company values, ethics & pride through exemplary behavior;

- Ensure availability of stocks at optimum level with stockiest / C&F warehouse in his territory.
