Our team consists of IIT engineers, IIM grads and CFA charterholders.   Visit www.heckyl.com for details   Role : Legal Research Analyst (Full-time)  Location : Mumbai  Working Hours : Monday to Friday - 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM &1st and 3rd Saturday - 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM  Salary : As per Market Standards   The role will involve following responsibilities (but not limited to) :  - You will have end-to-end responsibility of developing the Litigation analytics products/platforms.  - This includes understanding the business problem, devising an optimal approach to address the business problem, formulating data requirements, creating and maintaining company, sector and macro databases based on research findings, and validating using different statistical techniques.  - The responsibilities would also include researching and analyzing various court documents, client invoices, contracts and agreements. You may also be expected to review or inspect testimony, evidence or scientific literature and prepare reports based on the findings.  Candidate Profile :   Years of experience :   - 3 to 5 years in a Law Firm or a Legal Analytics Company with a background in providing research and analysis support to an attorney/ project manager for case law, public records, medical data or financial statements.  - Law Degree from a premier law school, with excellent legal analytic ability.  - Should be well-versed with Corporate Laws, Taxation Laws and Intellectual Property Laws.  - Fair understanding of the Regulatory Compliance Requirements of different Industry Sectors.  - Should have a background in researching, assessing and presenting information relating to legal cases.  - Should have hands-on experience of reviewing various legal contracts and agreements.  - Excellent communication skills.  - Experience of working in a project based environment with tight deadlines and as part of a broader team.
