Healthpole - Head - Web/Front End Development - IIT/BITS/NIT (3-10 yrs)
35% of all VC investments are currently happening in Healthcare IT, and is claimed to be the next big wave in the startup world.
The market is nascent and wide open, and we are here to capture all of it! We are building products that will disrupt the industry and will bring the entire healthcare ecosystem on a single digital platform.
Our product suite has multiple interconnected applications that connect all the stakeholders of the Healthcare world.
We have recently launched one of our products, on an invite-only basis. We have a few more products in pilot, while others are in production. We will be shooting for Series A in 2-3 months.
Who are we looking for :
While most people find comfort in climbing the corporate ladder, some prefer shooting for the stars. We are on the lookout for the latter. You will be heading our entire Web (Front-end) engineering team.
An ideal candidate would be the one who believes - Web is the platform-, not just a way to transfer text documents over the wire; Someone who knows the difference between a 'Web App' and a 'Website', between 'W3Fools' and 'W3Schools'.
Below are the requirements for the role :
- 3+ years of experience developing responsive web applications
- An engineering degree from IIT/BITS/NIT
- Expertise in JavaScript, jQuery
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS.
- Well versed with Bootstrap; Flex is not a requirement but Working knowledge would be a plus
- Expertise in various build tools
- Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Knowledge of Node.js, Polymer would be an advantage.
- Should have in-depth understanding of networking, web applications optimizations and factors that contribute to client- side application performance
- Strong quality focus, including success with design reviews, code reviews, unit testing
