- The role is for Business Development with core focus on Store expansion across geographies - including international locations too
- Someone having hands on experience in negotiating contracts, lease terms, bank financing terms would be an added advantage especially if the experience is also in the international territory
- It will involve frequent traveling
- The role also will involve strategic decision making -
Research on the catchment area
Understanding the customer psyche
Pricing of the product as per market
Store size location format design etc
The marketing or branding of the store
Go-to-market strategy
Legal framework
Land related dealings
Negotiation with Banks/ Financial partners for easy financing
- This would involve close interactions with the Senior Management and Leadership team on a regular basis on short and long term business plans
- Along with BD and expansion, the role will take care of P&L of the newly opened store/ geography
