Head - Treasury (15-25 yrs)
This is a very strategic and important role that would contribute significantly to the growth of the organization. The group is currently INR 500 crore in revenue but plans to expand into INR 2000 by 2017. The group is diversified into real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, mining, agricultural products, and consumer goods.
Responsibilities would include:
- Ensuring that a company's cash flow is adequate to allow it to operate effectively
- Forecasting cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for projects and investment and anticipating potential challenges
- Developing and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions, PE/VC's
- Evaluating the financial impact and making recommendations of new business ventures, acquisitions, joint ventures, asset sale, debt raising, etc.
- Negotiating loan or overdraft terms with company bankers;
- Liaising with other departments, such as tax and accountancy, on a range of issues;
- Providing advice on liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning (including project finance)
- Keeping up to date with financial and industry developments
- Determining the company's tax position and the applicability of taxable/non-taxable instruments
