Client Details :

- Our client is a global leader in Inks/ Chemical industry providing raw material to various applications that add colour to products that we use on a daily basis. They have an interesting and a very well developed R&D and production facility.

- The current requirement that the company has will expand their footprint and technological presence in the India market. To sustain this they are looking at hiring individuals who can ramp up their Technology team.

Job Description :

Reporting to the Global Technology Head, you will be responsible for :

- Successful implementation of technologies, application services and products within the region in cooperation with BU technology worldwide.

- Analysis of market needs which influencing product/ technology developments as well as ensure cooperation and information sharing between R&D and sales force.

- Development of regional technical capabilities as well as ensure know how transfer within the region.

- Presentations and training for sales force and customers from technical point of view as well as technical service, complaint management and troubleshooting with Key account customers.

- Develop and implement business plans and objectives within the area of responsibility

- Define and coordinate adjustments for regional product portfolio and technology in cooperation with Group technology.

- Advice and consult customer and affiliates on technology/ product issues. Share information and enforce cooperation within the area of responsibility.

- Plan and control budgets within the area of responsibility

Profile :

- You will have a Masters or PhD in chemical engineering with at least 15 years of experience in Ink/ Coating development technology.

- You will have an experience managing large R&D projects in printing and packaging in India.

- You will have a successful track record in ink, packaging, chemicals, coatings, additives, etc. Strong business relationships and leadership abilities is a must have.
