Job Responsibilities:  - Deliver online products that meet customer needs, by providing timely execution in product development and delivery to local customers   - Oversees technological strategy of the medical information database and the online platform that will support the product strategy   - Supervises project management, architecture design, software development, content, quality assurance, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction, including back office integration and integration with the company’s global platform  - Supervises and trains team members and conducts regular performance evaluations  - Co-ordinate with the editorial team to ensure the creation of content to support the digital media  - Meets with managers of other departments to facilitate interdepartmental cooperation and efficiency  - Participates in company wide long-range strategic planning  - Manages team to work with sales and marketing teams to develop concepts into final products, to review existing products and prepare source material for internal and external communication about products  - Manages contractors, software companies and other vendors  - Manages team to revise and enhance product lines using customer feedback from surveys and focus groups.  Candidate Profile:  - 8+ years of Java/J2EE working experience designing and developing web based applications.  - 5+ years technical management experience  - Be acquainted with C++  - Acquaintance and experience in Oracle/SQL Server/DB2/MySQL knowledge and experience  - Acquaintance of full-text search engines, fielded search, metadata search & browse and hypertext links  - Experience in full software development (or software infrastructure) life cycle in an enterprise environment  - Nice to have global IT project implementation experience in Sales, CRM areas.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese  - Knowledge of XML and/or SGML  - Experience in medical / health sciences related projects  - Experience in moving print publications to online database desirable  Suitable candidates may forward their updated profiles or Contact Dipali Mehta: 022 - 6171 7722.
