This requirement is for the Head - Talent Acquisition, Organisational Development & Employee Engagement with a leading global service provider.

The person must have a Master's degree in Human Resources (2 year, full Time course) from XLRI / TISS / IIM or any other Premier B school only.

Role Overview:

This role demands driving business results by understanding and meeting workforce planning needs and developing and implementing strategies to source qualified, diverse candidates and manage a team of recruiters and managers to meet business requirements from internal, external, and/or referral candidate pools. This person will also be responsible for OD and employee engagement.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Manages the whole gamut of Talent Acquisition needs of the company by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change. The TA can be for lateral & leadership as well as mass hiring of unskilled labor.

Ensure recruitment systems and other recruitment related technologies are meeting the needs of the business, and ensure the recruitment team is disciplined in their day to day use of recruiting technology based on Corporate standards

Manage the department's budget to control for cost-per-hire and maximize the value of the team's investments

Require experience in handling volume hiring of close to 1000-2000 recruits - can be blue collar staff as well, experience not limiting to hiring of unskilled labor and workmen.

Design and execute talent acquisition strategies and solutions that are aligned with the business strategy at the Client Organization and support both current and future workforce requirements (Talent Pipeline).

Provide strategic input on best sourcing channels and serve as a primary source of staffing and recruiting strategy advice, consultation, and education

Develop and implement recruitment programs ensuring effectiveness, consistency, and compliance with overall strategic planning

Develop and execute project plans that support the completion of strategic and tactical talent acquisition initiatives. Identify and drive opportunities for operational enhancement in collaboration with other leaders.

Partner with leaders across Human Resources and the business of the client organization to acquire external talent with the right skills at the right time, place and cost.

Organization Development initiatives such as, competency based scorecards, succession planning, talent management and strategic innovation exercise for the senior leaders

Employee Engagement Survey - Design, Administer and action planning

Ideal Candidate Background With:

Experience between 10-14 years with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

Demonstrated experience and capability in high-volume talent acquisition, delivery, execution and in developing and implementing creative talent acquisition strategies.

A person from a Hospitality background will have a added advantage.

Strong demonstrated experience in usage of low-cost hiring channels, delivering on shorter hiring TATs and team management skills preferred.
