Head - Talent Acquisition - IT (12-18 yrs)

The Head Talent Acquisition (which will be internally graded as Business Manager / General Manager) is responsible for overseeing the day to day talent acquisition activities for the organization to meet business strategies and financials. He/She drives recruiting for this organization in India for all the units as Shared Services. This individual will partner with the global human resource team, business leaders and the Global Talent Acquisition leadership team to develop and implement best in class talent acquisition practices.

Location : Pune

Specific responsibilities include the following:

- Must have had experience in designing strategy and plan, pipeline planning, process automation and execution.

- Identifies and develops strategies, services and activities to support current and future talent acquisition needs of the business partners in an efficient, high quality and cost effective manner.

- Integrate other units for standardization across India.

- Trains, coaches and manages in continuous process and quality improvement.

- Defines and implements and tracks talent acquisition metrics, carry forward the current metrics as Business as Usual.

- Consults and collaborate with planning, resource management, business and HR leadership to understand priorities and needs and establishes a long range talent supply chain.

- Continuously monitors workforce plans and metrics with internal and external stakeholders to adjust capacity in an efficient, cost effective manner.

- Conducts regular business reviews with senior leadership, business or delivery heads to highlight challenges, mission critical projects/restructurings in order to build a proactive staffing model.

- Keeps informed of industry and regulatory issues and the changing business environment and responds accordingly.

- Ensures Talent Acquisition functions adhere to agreed upon Service Level Agreements, policies and practices.

- Strategic, creative, purposeful business thinking, maintaining a strong focus on execution while managing multiple issues and projects.

- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple demanding initiatives concurrently.

- Excellent, consultative influence management skills in order to lead and partner on talent needs in the business.

- Strong analytical and metrics orientation with the desire and ability to use metrics to gain awareness and visibility to support a position and to “drive a story.”

- Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate and deal with all levels in the organization in a clear, timely and effective manner.

- A strong sense of urgency, a high degree of initiative, and the ability to lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams.

- A high level of professional integrity and confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive issues and situations with poise and emotional maturity.

Required Competencies/Skills/Education/Experience:

- Deep TA best practices expertise, broad organizational knowledge, labor market trends and legislative regulations

- Consultative skills and ability to influence and partner along with high metrics orientation and client focus; strong orientation towards analytics and the desire to use data to drive the story

- Adaptable; able to deal with uncertainty; change agent

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills; demonstrated effective listening and questioning skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization - Very comfortable receiving and giving feedback in a constructive manner

- Thought leader in talent acquisition trends; passionate about the role Talent Acquisition plays in the organization

- Ability to manager and lead across geographic and cultural boundaries. Able to unite fragmented functions for the overall good of the organization

- Manages activities of two or more sections or departments through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing. In some instances this manager may be responsible for managing staff function and may not have subordinate managers.

- Ease with Senior Management – can effectively interface at many levels with top executives

- Negotiator – can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships

- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an under-standing of current business trends. Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives.

Requirements:

- MBA or PGDBM / PGDHR from a recognized institute.

- Must have a fulltime degree or diploma

- 15+ years related experience

- 5+ years supervisory experience spread across multiple locations.

- Must have worked for a product development company, preferably in Banking and Financial Services.
