Head - Supply Chain - Mfg/Auto/FMCG

Main Purpose of the Job :

- Ensuring supply chain strategy, practices and initiatives are aligned with the company's business objectives and support the company's growth strategy.

Job Responsibilities :

- Lead the organisation strategy for OTD (Order to Delivery) process focusing on both MTO (Made to Order) and MTS (Made to Stock) and meeting customers expectations.

- Develop and lead the organization-wide sales & operations planning process. (S&OP)

- Ensure effectiveness of monthly forecast reviews. Assist commercial teams in developing accurate SKU-level demand forecasts and report on forecast accuracy against targets

- Manage development of plans to manage back orders, supply constraints, New Product Introductions or significant demand growth

- Managing the order flow and fulfillment process to ensure all orders are delivered to customers On Time in full (OTIF).

- Managing inventory planning and Replenishment at all manufacturing sites and depots.

- Setting up the transportation communication process to track delivery to customers.

- Champion supply chain projects to improve current systems and introduce new systems to increase overall effectiveness of the OTD process.

- Continuously Monitor all phases of work flow (Receipt of customer order, Punching of order, release of order, production [MTO & MTS], order dispatched to customer and receipt of goods to customer) to ensure seamless operations.

- Capacity planning

Candidates Profile :

- Minimum 12 years supply chain management experience in any of the following; manufacturing, consumer products or industrial products organisations.

- Experience in managing a customer service organization.

- Strong proficiency in developing, implementing and monitoring supply chain practices in customer service, planning, manufacturing and logistics.

- Working knowledge of Lean/ Six Sigma processes and involvement in continuous improvement programs

- Master's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management - or - equivalent in experience and tenure.
