Head - Supply Chain - FMCG Startup (12-20 yrs)
Responsibilities :
The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to :
- Lead the effort of designing, managing & scaling fulfillment processes & operations end to end (from vendor to customer)
- Develop strong business partnership & work extensively with 3rd Party Logistics and Fulfillment Centre Service Providers to build and successfully deliver customer focused infrastructure, processes and solutions
- Selecting, negotiating & strategic planning with 3rd party service providers to ensure running of fulfillment operations & processes in the most efficient manner and at reasonable price, quality & service levels
- Complete ownership of working with 3rd party service providers on capacity planning, network design, inventory movement and S&OP
- Build metrics to measure the efficacy of the supply chain system. Own all the metrics across the supply chain function and strive to meet and beat the goals and targets
- Drive complex, milestone driven projects to design/implement advanced Supply Chain processes & tools
- Lead supply chain improvement initiatives at all levels to drive customer delight and improve their loyalty
- Build & lead a strong, high performing team providing coaching & mentorship
- Leverage analytics to extract insights from data using latest internal & external data and communicate appropriate triggers & actions to team
- Partner with product team to design & build technology tools, measures & dashboards to improve 3rd party service providers- ability to deliver on key metrics
