About our Client: Our Client is one of the fastest growing online retail businesses in India and has recently emerged as a dominant player in the online marketplace, having consolidated its position amongst the top 3 Indian brands. They have over 2000 employee base in India and are headquartered in Delhi NCR. They are expanding their team and are looking for a person to handle the Supply Chain Finance Function- which is backbone of their business.

Job Description: The Supply Chain Finance controller will oversee budget/forecast preparation and management, accounting controls and financial reporting for distribution center expenses and capital investments. The position regularly interfaces with Logistics and Finance Senior Leadership, and reports to the Director, Finance.

Some of the key job responsibilities are:

Planning and Analysis:

- Plan and execute the annual budget and Long Range Plan processes for the Distribution Center Finance team, including consolidation of budgets, explanation of trends, causes-of-change, initiatives and risks/opportunities.

- Help establish and communicate business plan targets to Logistics management and Brand business partners.

- Develop new methodologies to improve forecast accuracy, to identify cost drivers and trend analysis and to establish business plan targets. Communicate forecast updates to brand finance business partners.

- Manage Logistics Capital spend from analysis at total program level for LRP/Budget/Forecast to individual project level cash-flow analysis (IRR/NPV) and approvals.

- Understand Logistics growth & optimization strategies, work with finance, operations and engineering teams to incorporate initiative impact into the budget and forecasts.

- Partner in strategy and systems implementation. Provide decision support via ad-hoc analyses and complex financial modeling to support Logistics and Supply Chain activities

Controls:

- Implement appropriate control changes in line with the Supply Chain strategy initiatives

Leadership:

- Manage, coach and develop direct reports based in India

- Ability to improve processes, build partnerships and influence decisions Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills

The Successful Candidate:

- You must be CA with 8-13 years of post qualification experience in eCommerce, Retail, Logistics industry with at least 3 years experience in handling Supply Chain Finance role.
