Head - Strategic Sourcing Leader

Role:

- Strategic Sourcing Leader for the AMEA (Own Plant and 3P)

- Country Lead Role for Regional Sourcing and product Harmonization

Education:

- B.E + MBA ( SCM / Operations)

- Bachelor degree, or above, gained from a recognized university, Post-graduation major in polymer, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, economics, business administration

- Overall experience of 10 -12 yrs, Solid track records in "Polymer / Film / plastic purchasing" fields. In-depth knowledge of plastic / polymer business.

Key Success Factors:

- To Create India as a Sourcing Base for Polymer / Plastic raw materials.

- Good Commercial Acumen

- Should be good planner, and able to populate the procurement plan based on the business/ region need.

Key Deliverables:

- Implements regional and global procurement strategies. Supports objectives to increase cost competitiveness for all Polymer / Plastic needs for all plants and business on Regional basis.

- Lead for contract administration & responsible for the frame work of master agreements for the various contracts

- Accountable and directly responsible for the timely delivery of goods and services as per the service level agreements.

- Directly responsible for the cost savings targets assigned for the region

- High Experience in E- procurement tools and ERP systems.

- Interacts with business, functional and technical (manufacturing, engineering, maintenance) leaders to ensure Plastic / Polymer requirements are met and provides performance assessment of key suppliers for major Polymer supplies and turnarounds.

- Oversees procurement activities and ensures compliance of procurement guidelines, policies, procedures and processes.

- Participates in Value Chain team meetings, identifies areas to improve cost and schedule, mitigates risk, manages claims avoidance, negotiates contracts and purchase orders and resolves issues.
