Job Title : Head - Special Events  Location : Delhi/NCR  Department : Sales & Training   Reports to : Vice President - Sales & Training  Purpose:-  Provides leadership and vision for Special Events including strategy development, strategy execution and program implementation.   Primary Responsibilities:-  - Develops long-term strategy to support pace of revenue growth  - Direct the activities of the Special Events teams  - Provides direction and oversight for the implementation and execution of meetings and events for company  - Create and drive innovative and exciting events that will increase productivity in support of aggressive business goals  - Initiates meetings with key stakeholders to strategize and define event objectives, including budget, revenue projections, program message and target audience  - Ensures the effectiveness and productivity of meetings and events is measured and tracked  - Ensures meeting and events expenditures are properly tracked and managed   - Researches and recommends appropriate sites, venues and vendors that will best support business goals  - Provides direction for the negotiation of vendor/site contracts and ensures compliance with corporate and departmental guidelines  - Ensures self and team keep up with the industry best practices and continuously strive to innovate  - Develop staff through coaching & goal setting and build team capabilities
