Head of Solution Architecture for largest Telecom Giant

Position: Head of Solution Architecture for Public Cloud Team.

Key Responsibilities :

We would ideally look for someone who has been a part of Sales / Pre-sales Team who have been involved in - Closing a Sale Deed- to large Indian clients.

This role will work closely with the Head of Business Development and Engineering Managers - and hence is a Techno-commercial role.

Strong change management skills and ability to demonstrate a ROI walk-though are the must-have skills. In addition, ability to understand the Cloud Infrastructure architecture, passion to follow what is happening in the cloud industry and attitude to deal with Senior Engineers internally and also with senior Client side IT folks are key success factors.

Only, an IIT or NIT (premier) pass-out with about 10 years post qualification experience with the last 4-5 years in Cloud solution architecture area.

Responsibilities :

- Helping customers with designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems using various company Cloud Services

- Working with partners, and several JCS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business needs and accelerate the adoption of Jio Cloud Services

- Helping customers move from On-premise to Cloud with the re-architecture of the application (migrate existing workload to Cloud)

- Helping customers in identifying the appropriate Jio Cloud Service (from so many available in Storage, Compute, Networking, Database etc.) based on the requirements and use cases of the customers

- Estimating the cost of running application on various environments including the Jio Cloud Services and thus helping customers make the right decision

- Helping organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions

- Working with Senior Management to help shape and execute the strategy to increase the adoption of Jio Cloud Services

Requirements :

- B. Tech in Computer Science from a reputed university (IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS Pilani)

- Good knowledge of at least one programming language such as C, C++, Java

- Total 10+ Yrs with At least 4-5 years of relevant architect kind of an experience

- At least 2-3 years of Software Engineering experience in a reputed Product Company

- Some experience with using/advocating AWS is desirable but not required
