Job Description  Manage the guidance and support provided by SME to production of KYCS, new business renewals and remediation team within the GSC India environment.  This role also involves liaising with the business partners as well as colleagues and senior onshore partners thus ensuring timely resolution of queries.   The following responsibilities are applicable:  - Build the team of SMEs required to support this initiative   - Ensuring that Production are able to complete the KYCS profiles in accordance with the Group Policy; providing guidance and training on the relevant documents as required from the client / relationship manager and undertaking the necessary due diligence checks.  - Responsible for the analysing the data that will identify trends/issues to be addressed in (1) amendments to guidance or (2) further training/communication  - In association with the Training Manager, implement the training and development framework to manage the intake of new hires.  Make sure continuous training, development and accreditation discipline is established  - Provide the support to the recruit the production teams for KYC Services.  - Support a culture of meritocracy, high performance standards and high achievement amongst our people  - Once hired, create development plans for key individuals within the SME team, and succession plans.  - Provide leadership, support, guidance and coaching to the SME teams within GSC KYC Services.  Ensure that GSC KYC Services is the best place to work as evidenced through future GPS scores.  Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of the progress and challenges in the GSC KYC Services build out and on-going operations.  - Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.   - Maintain OUR Internal Control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.  Be aware of the Operational Risk scenarios associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.  - Establishing a structure and process to ensure the production /quality is achieved according to project timetables.  - Working effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to ensure mutually satisfactory resolution of key issues and the respective responsibilities are understood and discharged.  - Strengthen and develop the SME team, transition from reliance on onshore SME’s  - Integration with KYCS onshore and other GSC services, rather than stand-alone model, have the team as an integral part of a continued service   - Assist with the implementation of the TOM   - The role requires highly effective project management ability  - Working in a pressurized, time-sensitive environment   The above responsibilities would demonstrate the need for a high-calibre individual, with sound knowledge of OUR Due Diligence systems and procedures. The applicant should have demonstrated capabilities in planning, project management, and people management. The candidate is expected to have strong communication skills.  This role reports to Vice President - KYCS and will work closely with the Onshore Functional Heads of KYCS. This role would provide a transversal view of the organisation and also provides a very good exposure in terms of geographical dimensions given the global footprints of KYCS.  Skills/Experience Required  - Proven business and operational experience including KYCS knowledge. (E)  - Extensive experience in the Finance and Banking industry environment (e.g. fund administrator, brokerage house, custodian, investment bank, etc.) together with business project management experience (E)  - Experience of working in a highly-matrixes environment, and accustomed to bridging the gap between disparate organisations and cultures (E)  - Experience in risk management field, and proven ability to support the development of the business activities while robustly applying risk management disciplines and controls (E)  - Experience of building relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users (E)  - Good knowledge of regulatory trends and developments (E)  - AML qualification and or post graduate Compliance degree is an advantage (E)  - Strong leadership and management ability (E)  - Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain global relationships (E)  - Outstanding written / verbal communication and presentation skills (E)  - Planning, time management and resource management skills (E)  - Proven ability to prioritise competing demands (E)  - Positive ‘can do/ will do’ attitude (E)  - Strong analytical skills with experience of capacity planning and effective use of MI for performance management.
